Notes:
- Pavaso is not currently optimized to complete eClosings on a smartphone device.
- For an ideal experience, a laptop with touchscreen is recommended but not required. When using a laptop with a touchscreen or tablet, a stylus pen is recommended but not required.
- Signature pads are not compatible with Pavaso’s closing solutions.
- Users will need to update their browsers to the latest version as older versions are not supported.
- Microsoft Surface Pro is the only hybrid laptop device supported for RON and Essential Notary signings.
- Pavaso’s RON and Essential Notary require a camera, microphone, and speakers to communicate with the notary.
- During the RON and Essential Notary signings, signers and witnesses are required to validate their photo ID through a trusted third-party identity verification service. Signers and witnesses must use their smartphone to take a picture of their photo ID and upload it via text. Signers must be able to receive and send messages to U.S.-based phone numbers to complete the ID validation. The ID validation text cannot be sent to third-party messaging services. iPhone® users must use Safari to validate their ID.
